The Behavioral Health Public County Profile (BHPCP) is committed to keeping your personal information private and secure, as required by law and policy. These laws and policies include the California Information Practices Act of 1977 (IPA); California Public Records Act; California Government Codes § 11015.5 and §11019.9; State Administrative Manual (SAM) § 5310.1; and, SIMM 5310-A Privacy Statement and Notices Standard.

BHPCP uses DataDog Real User Monitoring (RUM) to gather performance and technical metrics about our website. This data helps us improve the site's performance and functionality, while ensuring your privacy by not collecting any personally identifiable information (PII). Specifically, the information collected includes:

  • Page Load Times: Metrics such as First Paint (FP), First Contentful Paint (FCP), Largest Contentful Paint (LCP), Time to Interactive (TTI), and Total Blocking Time (TBT) to assess and improve page load performance.

  • Performance Metrics: Information on navigation and resource load times, including how quickly pages and resources are loaded and become interactive.

  • Error Tracking: Data on JavaScript errors and network errors to help identify and resolve issues affecting the website or application functionality.

  • User Experience Metrics: General information on session duration, page views, and interaction patterns to understand user engagement and improve user experience.

  • Behavioral Data: Insights into page load sequences, interaction patterns, and user engagement, such as clicks and scrolling behavior, without tying this data to individual users.

  • Technical Data: Non-identifiable information about the browser type and version, operating system, and device type used to access our website or application.

  • Performance Issues: Data on latency, delays, and response times to help optimize the performance of our website or application.

This data is used solely for performance analysis and improvement and is not shared with third parties or used for any purpose beyond these objectives.

BHPCP requests personal information, including names, phone numbers, and email addresses, for identification and communication purposes with the agency. This data is used to maintain accurate records, facilitate effective communication regarding services and updates, and ensure compliance with Behavioral Health Services Act regulatory requirements.
